School (even homeschool) make it very difficult to blog

Seriously, I don't really like this whole school-thingy. It's totally restricting my free time. But that's not what I'm blogging about, that's just my excuse for not blogging very much lately.
What I'm actually blogging about is Mutual last night.
It was really fun.
The end.
Hahahahahahaha!
We did newspaper this fashion show. We split up into three teams and each team had to make their model (who was another Young Woman) a modest prom dress out of newspaper and tape. It was super funny, even though our team lost.
We did this floor-length- dress with a really puffy skirt. We did the puff by folding and taping the paper at the top. The shirt was just a long piece on newspaper wrapped around our model's waist, but we made it modest with a piece of newspaper covering each shoulder.
We folded the back of the newspaper into a V shape (with pieces of newspaper behind to make it modest, of course) and put laces made out of tape going across the V. It was a lot of fun to make, even if our team didn't get 1st place. We got the "most creative" award.
They gave the "most creative" award to Scaffy at the Halloween party wheree he was Nightcrawler from the X-men.
My mom couldn't find a Nightcrawler costume, so she turned his pajamas inside out and made an X across them. And she gave him blue face paint all over. He though it as the greatest thing EVER! (I thought it was pretty cool, too, especially all the face paint)
The guy who gave out the award thought he was a smurf. Fortunately, that didn't bother Scaffy.

My dad figured out how to set up RockBand so that you can actually play the drums. It's a lot more fun now. We play it every night.

So last night was really fun, even if I did spend HOURS and HOURS writing a report on the War of the Roses (that I'm still not finished with)

Wish me luck on my choir audition! :)

  3. The War of the Roses was an actual war in Britain in the 1400's.

I know I can sing, Mom, but it is a lot harder to sing when you have been sick for a week. Like, a LOT harder.

  4. We have to do that game every time I go to a bridal shower except with toilet paper to make a bridal gown. I'm kind of an expert now.

  5. Do you do a different design every time?

SERIOUSLY, people? What is the point of blogging if nobody comments? If you can't think of anything to say about the post, THEN JUST SAY "HI"!

Have a nice day.
