Quick-ish update

I still haven't figured out how to set up that Star Wars background.
I can get it to appear on the screen, but it won't go around like an actual background.

Harumph.

If anybody knows how to upload a HTML as a background (or template, I don't care) (Melanie J, could you ask Kenny?) PLEASE HELP ME OUT!

  2. Hi there, Migil!

    OK, you'll have to do a little "hacking".

    In your blogger admin:
    1. Go to "Layout".
    2. Click "Edit HTML".
    3. Locate the "body" style element. It will look something like this:

    body {
    margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px;
    background:#fff url("http://www1.blogblog.com/dots/bg_dots.gif");
    background-position: 50% 31px;
    text-align:center;
    font:x-small Verdana, Arial, Sans-serif;
    color:$textcolor;
    font-size/* */:/**/small;
    font-size: /**/small;
    }

    4. Change the url for the background attribute to the your new one.

    For example:

    change:

    background:#fff url("http://www1.blogblog.com/dots/bg_dots.gif");

    to

    background:#fff url("http://www.somewhere.com/myCoolStarWarsPic.jpg");

    5. Click "Preview" to make sure it is going to work.

    6. If so click "Save Template".

    If not have your dad give me a call and I'll walk you guys through it ;)

SERIOUSLY, people? What is the point of blogging if nobody comments? If you can't think of anything to say about the post, THEN JUST SAY "HI"!

Have a nice day.
