OWWWW!!!!!

So yesterday, I'm running around my room trying to get ready for church (how unusual).

And my room is a HUGE mess (how unusual).

And I'm barefoot (how unusual).

And my belt is laying around in the middle of the floor (this is actually unusual).

And the metal point (the (usual) one that goes through the holes in the belt) is sticking straight up in the air.

And I stepped on it.

(I just want to take the time to say that I am glad for modern medicine and vaccinations, 'cuz other wise I would probably lose my foot. Which I might anyways, 'cuz I can barely walk. I'm not even exaggerating. It HURTS!)

Um....very randomness

*I have been babysitting like CRAZY!!! Like, this week I did Tuesday afternoon, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday afternoon, and Friday night. It's kinda nice to finally have some cash.

*Mom did a Triathlon this morning, and she made all of us get up at 5:00 ON A SATURDAY MORNING to come watch her. I was SOOOOO mad! She did good in the race, though.

*My orchestra teacher is still being mean, but I'm doing my best to not give an excuse to pick on me.

*Random Star Wars question: Do you think the Classic Trilogy (4,5,6) is better than the Prequel Trilogy (1,2,3), or the other way around?

*I made chicken and broccoli casserole for dinner last night. It was good, except that I couldn't find the curry powder in the spice drawer. When mom got home, after the casserole was all made, she looked in the spice drawer and found it immediately.

*I think a Halloween Imp stole it, and then put it back to make me look bad.

*Please don't ask me why a Halloween Imp would care about making me look bad.

*I don't ever want to do a triathlon.

*Star Wars is awesome (but the Prequel Trilogy is the best).

*Dad brought home half of a Lemon pie the other night. It was REALLY good!

*Don't ask me what happened to the other half of the pie, please.

*Once me and Mom had this argument about Latin. I said it wasn't a dead language because there are people who speak it, but she said it is a dead language because nobody speaks it as their native language. So I said when I grow up I'm gonna make my husband learn Latin, and we're gonna talk to our baby in Latin, so that will be her native language and it won't be a dead language anymore.

*Mom laughed hysterically and said I was gonna marry the kinda guy who would already know Latin.

*I have no idea why I told that story.

*Dad is watching football behind me.

*I hate football.

Holy Cow!

As I type, it is 63° outside! 63!!!!!
I live in Las Vegas, and it is 63°, on the first day of October!!!! That does not happen I Vegas. It doesn't begin to get cold until the end of October, or maybe the middle, it it's a really cold year, but NEVER the first day of October!!!

I love this weather.
What is it about the cold that makes the air seem so clear?
It's so cold! (and BTW, don't tell me that 63° isn't cold. Where I live, 63° is freezing)
