Rejoice, the Lord is King!

This is my favorite hymn EVER!

And it even has words in this video! :) :)

I'm to tired to come up with a good name for this.

I always try to blog on one of the last days of the month, just to bring he totall number of posts for the month up. I'm weird like that.

My mom ran a half-marathon last weekend Lookit!

My mom's so perdy...

I saw Napoleon Dynamite for the very first time today. It was funny, but not as funny as everybody acts like it is.

That's all I wanna say about that.

I also saw 13 going on 30. I like that movie.

And that's all I wanna say about that.

I spent the whole day at Jess's (the girls who puked at the movies, remember?) It was losta fun. I hung out at a different friend's house last week, too.

I think my social handicap might be beginning to lift (I'm jinxing myself here...). =)

I have been craving chocolate chips like crazy lately. Which stinks, cuz I'm trying to start and after-Christmas diet, hel-lo! This uncontrollable chocolate craving does not help.

My favorite flair on Facebook:

Can't think of nuthin else to say.

Bye.

Rain, Rain, go away... no, seriously, go away... GET AWAY FROM ME ALREADY!!!!!

WHY IS IT SO WET????!!!!????!!!!??

IT HAS BEEN RAINING SINCE 8:00 THIS MORNING-HARD!!! AND IT'S STILL GOING!!! AND IT HAS NOT EVEN STOPPED FOR FIVE MINUTES BETWEEN 8:00 AND 6:21!!!!

SERIOUSLY!!!!

That's pretty much all I have to say, except for this:

Bye.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Hmmm...

I still don't know what to blog about.

Math sucks. I hate math. End of story.

Last year my friends and I had a joke about the suckishness of math. One girl is partially insane and actually likes math. She's crazy. So me and my other friend said that as soon as somebody invented a time machine we were gonna go back in time and strangle the guy who invented math. His name was Norman. He looked like this:

And we were going to strangle him, and then there would be no math. Yep, that's how it's gonna be, as soon as somebody invents a time machine.

What else can I blog about?
I'm rereading the HP books for the 11th time. I kid you not. ELEVEN times (actually, ten, but it will become eleven soon)! See, I was watching the 4th and 5th movies, (which I wasn't allowed to see before I was 13) and so I just kept thinking how much better the books are, so I decided I need to reread them.

Facebook is VERY addicting. Like, Holy-Cow-My-Butt-Has-Been-Superglued-To-The-Chair kinda addicting.

This:

Is a good book. (BTW, I don't think you can click to Look Inside- I just took the picture off of Amazon so that was part of the picture)

Lookit all the origami Thelly did!

Why is it the 10 year old boys love origami? Mom and Thelly went to an origami workshop at the library, and, like, everyone who was there was a 10 year old boy. I actually liked origami when I was 10, but I act like a boy with some frequency (lookit here), so maybe that's not to surprising.

And now I can't think of anything to say.

Bye.

Because I need to blog, but have nothing to say.

I went to an awesome party last night. The end.

My 100th post!

So it's been 6 months, and I'm already at my 100th's post. How cool is that?

So I have pretty much nothing to say today except for this:

THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END!!!!! GET READY FOR THE APOCALYPSE!!!

Wanna know why?

MY HEALTH-FREAK OF A MOTHER SERVED US CHICKEN NUGGETS AND APPLE JUICE FOR DINNER LAST NIGHT!!!!!

REALLY!!

I KNOW, RIGHT?!

I AM REALLY ENJOYING THESE BIG, EARTH-SHATTERING LETTERS!!!

Thank you for shopping at Migillicutty Reads, have a nice day.

More Random Goings-on

Semester tests have begun. Ugh. Even though I have a third as many as normal people. So... we had our orchestra one, which took most of the period (and it Was a LONG period- like 90 minutes, almost) and was good, as music exams go. The choir period exam took about 15 minuets to complete. FIFTEEN, out of NINETY. Poor planning on either the part of the teacher or whoever set the exam schedule.

I am reading this book.
It's REALLY GOOD. This author has written a few books before, (look here for my review) which I liked, but it was definitely not in the class of meaningful, thought provoking books. This one is almost there, so close. It is thought-provoking, but without that, meaningful, sad sorta feeling you get from really thought provoking books, like this one:This is an excellent book that is EXTREMELY thought-provoking, complete with that sad, meaningful feeling. Here is a review that is TOTALLY and COMPLETELY what I would want to say of I wanted to take the time to write it out myself. Except for the lesbo part.

Where was I with the other book? Never mind... I said pretty much all I wanted to say.

I will probably come back and add the rest of the random goings-on later; I can't remember them right now.

Because I promised myself I would Blog more.

You know what's good?

Japanese ice cream. We went to my grandparents house too help out today, and afterwards we went to the Japanese food shop to get gyoza sauce (I have no idea how to spell that, but whatever). And Mom owed us a treat for helping out at Grandma's (and Grandpa's but it's faster to just write Grandma's so that's what I'm going with), so we got these mango-flavored sherbet balls. They were GOOD! I mean, you know how no fruit flavored candy actually tastes like strawberry, or grape, or whatever? Well these really did taste like mango, and the outer shell was sorta textured like it too. And the inside was ice cream. So it was kinda messy, but only if you ate the shell before the ice cream. Which Thelly did. It got all over him :)

Hmm... what else?

I got SUPER SUPER SICK on Thursday night. I think it was food poisoning.... no fun, I tell you. I ended up just sleeping in the bathroom, cuz I was throwing up so much. Ugh.

what else?

So since I was sick, I didn't go to school (I know what you're gonna say: "But you're home schooled!" I know that, but I take 2 classes at the public middle school, ok?) so I had a Star Wars marathon. It was AWESOME, but I kept falling asleep cuz I was so sick.

I think it is impossible to put my 'i' 'o' or 'u' in the right place. Who decided to put 3 vowels right next to each other?

For that matter, why do we have to put any buttons near the 'Delete' key? What you do is this: Ho= when you tried to write Hi. Ugh.

My neighbors are moving. BOO! They have the cutest little baby girl that I babysit all the time while the mom works. And now they're moving! Dangit!

Hmm... what else?

I've been spending a lot of time on facebook lately. It is awesome. The end.

No, not The end..... actually, it might be The end, cuz I can't think of anything else. Umm...

The End.

All the interesting stuff since Christmas

First of all, I played my cello at our family Christmas party. Everybody went ON and ON about how good I did, but it's not like I did all that great. I was pretty proud of myself, though, 'cuz I'd only learned those songs like, 3 days before, and they were WAAAAAAAY harder than any songs I'd done before that.

Guess what I got for Christmas the next day. Guess!

This!

I was SOOOOOOO happy! (except I actually knew I was getting it, 'cuz my mom had the Mia Maids help her wrap stuff and the Mia Maids leader has a daughter who is one of my best friends)
And I clothes and Taylor Swift CD's and Cute Shoes and Tim Tams in my stocking. =) And Star Wars books. And some other stuff that I can't think of right now (yes, I know I'm an ungrateful child).

And all us kids got Nerf Guns! We shoot each other ALL. DAY. LONG.

And then I got asked to speak in church AGAIN! the day before my birthday!
What kind present is that? And of course, everybody said it was great. I think if I stood up there and talked about Star Wars for 5 mins. everybody would STILL say it was great.

Then I had my Birthday. After 13 years, I am FINALLY allowed to see PG-13 movies!! HALLE-FREAKING-LUJAH!! So I took some friends to see Avatar, which was excellent! Except we saw it in 3-D and we were sitting real close to the screen, and one of my friends got motion sick and THREW UP IN THE THEATRE!!!! I felt SOOO bad for her!
Mom had to take her home, but my other friends stayed and afterwards we went to my house and had Key Lime Pie (cuz it is SOO much better than cake) and ice cream (which didn't go with the pie at all). And I got Cute Jewelry and 10 bucks and music books and the Harry Potter 4 movie, which I had previously not been allowed to watch.

And then we had New Years. ALL my dad's family came to town- INCLUDING the ones who haven't come to ANYTHING for like 3 YEARS! We had a HUGE confetti fight- I mean HUGE!!!

Lookit!

And these don't show the FLOOR! Some of the littler kids were literally SWIMMING in all teh confetti!

It was sheer awesomeness.

And then EVERY. SINGLE. FREAKING. KID. -like, all 30 of us- came and slept at OUR HOUSE.

AT MY MOM'S REQUEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I seriously considered writing her an official certificate of insanity.

She said it was a dream of hers.

::eye roll::
But it actually turned out pretty well, and everybody at a lot of fun. It was a good start to the new year.

Then we had family pictures. Every got dressed up all pretty, and we got into QUEENS-HEAD (for those who don't know what that signifies, queens-head is the neighborhood where people spend a million dollars on the most BEAUTIFUL landscaping you have ever SEEN) to take the pictures. And then after I got that totally Beautiful profile pic.

And then all the relatives went home. BOOO!

And then I spent the rest of the week fattening myself.

and then this morning I got up at 6- freaking-30, after sleeping till 10 for the past 2 WEEKS!

And it wasn't even hard. How weird is THAT?
And my friend, the same one that barfed at the movies, she forgot her locker combo! It was pretty funny. Poor Jess, though....

And then I came home and started working on a BIIIIG research project that is eventually going to become my cousin's B-day/Christmas present.... depending on how soon I finish it.

So now you know what I've been up to.

P.S. This is a really funny conversation that Monkey and I had:

HIM: Lookit, Migillicutty, I'm counting my dollars.
ME: Really? How many dollars do you have?
HIM: I have five dollars.
ME: Is that a lot of dollars?
HIM: That is a LOT of dollars.
ME: Can I have one of your dollars?
HIM: NO! YOU CAN'T HAVE ONE OF MY DOLLARS!
ME: Ok, just kidding, I wasn't actually gonna take one of your dollars. I'm not THAT broke.
HIM: Good, cuz I don't want you to take any of my dollars.
ME: You are a goofball.
